We have used our 420 HECO wood stove for two winters so far. We have a well insulated 1320 sq,ft. home. This wood stove is able to keep the front part of our home 75-78 degrees with only three pieces of wood. I have discovered the stove works best with the wood arraigned in a pyramid. We have to add wood every three to four hours to keep the house warm. If I use more wood that this I am afraid to over fire the wood stove. It does keep coals of hours. I built an 16x20 addition to our for the HECO wood stove as it weighs about 800 lbs. The wood stove was shipped very well in a strong crate.
