The Hearthstone 8702 Tucson is a soapstone direct vent gas stove designed to heat a large area within a home or cabin (up to 1,200 square feet). This gas burning stove, though similar to the Hearthstone Stowe, builds on the efficiency and functionality of the Stowe, with the additional elegance and superior heating properties of natural soapstone.

This soapstone gas stove incorporates a few key Hearthstone technologies that make this product not only efficient, but reliable. Cold air drafts are reduced and efficiency in combustion is increased using a sealed firebox with direct vent technology that draws air from outside the home for combustion, instead of inside. With the ProFlame electronic ignition system that this efficient gas stove has, the pilot light is turned off when the stove is not in use, saving you gas. The advanced ignition system also comes with a battery backup, so that even if the power goes out, you can still operate your gas stove to provide you with heat. This beautiful gas stove comes built with natural soapstone to radiate lots of soothing heat, but with Heatwave refractory technology incorporated into the stove, heat produced from the fire is pressured toward the viewing glass and out of the stove, resulting in even more heat to keep your home comfortable. An included remote control gives you an easy way with plenty of options with which you can control the gas burning stove.

There are four different stone finishes, and three choices in color, so that you can choose the perfect soapstone gas stove to not only complement your home, but to also efficiently and reliably provide a large area with comfortable heat.
