**This product was discontinued in 2019. This page is provided for informational purposes.** The Fire Chief FC1000 EPA Certified Wood Burning Indoor Furnace is designed for high efficiency, low emissions, and a smaller footprint than the other units in its line. This well-engineered unit provides longer burn times while distributing more heat than pre-EPA approved furnaces. Its temperature-controlled draft blower and self-regulating secondary air control system allow for long, consistent burn times that do not require supervision. The Fire Chief’s use of the industry’s strongest blower provides whole-home circulation to deliver consistent heat while the digital thermostat monitors the temperature to maintain performance. This Fire Chief furnace heats up to 2,500 sq. ft. dependably with its prized Clean Burn Technology. Featuring a 4.0 cu. ft. firebox that accepts 20" logs, the FC1000 offers a heat output of 130,000 BTUs. This Fire Chief furnace is equipped with both a fixed grate system as well as a standard ash pan, digital thermostat. With its minimized dimensions and improved clearance to combustible minimums, the FC1000 is ideal for small spaces and tight installations. The pre-wired, front-mounted draft blower makes the installation more convenient. The addition of Fire Chief’s optional heavy gauge power coated sheet metal stand makes loading the FC1000 even easier. The FC1000 proudly displays its MADE IN THE USA label and has been manufactured in St. Louis, Missouri for over 40 years.
