We are thrilled with our new Pioneer Princess. Had it professionally installed to ensure safety, and was very pleased with the performance. Baked biscuits and a cake on only the first full fledged heating of the stove..with success. We found no hot spots in the oven, and it bakes better then my propane Jenn Aire. Very easy to learn to maintain correct temperatures. This Princess heats so well, that I dare not use it in weather that is more then 50 degrees outside- we will melt. We have a large, new home and had this installed in the basement for back up and it quickly heats the next two floors. We will use it in the fall and in the spring instead of outdoor wood boiler. This stove is amazing! We are first time wood cookstove users/owners and we are very happy with this stove and the price. Professional installers (who sell wood stoves) were impressed with its construction & the appearance!
